Update: Change of name.

I decided to choose this peice for my final summative studio assignment for art class.
I think when I first put out this picture; I didn't explain quite why I made it.

Basically; I wanted to create a believable looking scenario that could never really exist. I wanted to shock the viewer; however, not by the initial viewing of the picture; but after after having looked at the picture, and realizing what they were looking at.. SHOCK them than.

For those of you who are curious how I made this picture; I used 3 macro picturse of an eye, a mouth, and a leaf. I used an IR filter and played with constrats. I extended the gums of the mouth to fit the eye better, and warp the teeth to blend inwards.

From now on i'm going to take more time in explaining why I do my art because of 1.. you guys need something to do while the picture is loading ;-) and.. cause my art class has opened my eyes a lot - and I think I wanna share that :)

this looks amazing...conceptually as well as aesthetically.

i love the way you've focused this around the eye as well as the perspective in which you've tilted the image. beautiful work :heart:
